• Over 280,000 people are injured.
• Every 8 seconds there is an accident involving an insurance claim. (10,800 insurance related accidents every day in the UK).
• 34% of all deaths in the workplace are motor vehicle related.

• 3 in 5 vehicles have been involved in an accident each year (60% accident rate).
• Fleet accident rates are 40% higher than that of private motorists.
• 40% of all incidents classed as ‘Hit Whilst Parked!!!’
• 53% of all incidents involved hitting STATIONARY objects.
• 51% of all incidents occur in car parks! 61% when including theft and vandalism).
• 30% of all incidents occur at Junctions and Roundabouts.

• Mobile phone users are 4 times more likely to have an accident than a person twice over the drink drive limit.
• New Legislation due soon - Complete Ban on Phones. Fine to be increased to £1,000.

FACT: Drivers who have had NO training other than their standard driving test cause over 95% of all accidents on the road.
